Mother's Day

 

Hey Family!!

How was everyone's week?  We had another great week here in Cheonan:)  Our grandma investigator was baptized yesterday and it was a really spiritual baptismal service.  I don't know how much I have explained about her, she was buddhist but her children are all members and her husband was baptized about five years ago.  People have tried to get her to be baptized for a long time but recently her daughter returned from living in New Zealand and really helped give her the push to be baptized.  It was such a happy day for their family and I was so happy to be a part of it.  Can't wait until they can go to the temple all together next year.

 

We also spent alot of time with our investigators Sunny, Crystal, and Young (those are their english names).  Sunny is a super outgoing person and she keeps us laughing 24/7 especially cause her english is so hysterical.  This week she told us about her swimming teacher with the "triangle swimming pants" that are always "catching colors". And her running straight into them. We were laughing hysterically that night telling the other sisters the story.  I don't even think I can write all the hystericl things she says.  But the cool part is she is buddhist but is so interested about our church right now and keeps asking all kinds of questions.  She will be the greatest member someday:)  The other two women both attend other churches and last week when we were meeting them at a cafe Crystal's Pastor's wife  walked into the same cafe...awkward!!

 

It is almost the end of another transfer and this transfer has been one to remember.  Right now we have such great investigators.  One is a 25 year old girl we met this week;  she really opened up to us about alot of things and all we could think the whole time is that the gospel is the answer to help her through all of her problems.  I love seeing other people receive the blessing s of the gospel, I don't know what I would do without it.
